At an early age I was trying to find a way to express myself: skateboarding was my escape. Growing up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, trouble always has a way of catching up to you. For me, I spent my time skateboarding, which kept me out of trouble. For others, it may not have been the same. When I was 14 I decided to dedicate all of my time to becoming a professional skateboarder.
